When Diet Delight Restaurant opened its doors under new ownership in early 2025, it faced the immense challenge of launching a new brand in the competitive Abu Dhabi dining scene. The business required a significant initial push to generate a client surge, which would build the foundational revenue needed for future investment.
The obstacles ahead of the restaurant were immediate:
- Wrong map location: Google Maps was sending customers to the opposite side of the street.
- Minimal online reputation: Only 12 reviews, not enough to compete with established restaurants.
- No website: The business needed to attract foot traffic and delivery orders purely through local search.
- No Visibility: People can’t find the restaurant on Google because no foundation was laid to have a lasting presence.
The mission was clear: drive immediate foot traffic for on-site dining and increase direct orders for home delivery.
Step 1: Foundational Analysis & Strategy
We began by performing a digital deep-clean, removing any outdated information related to the previous business at that location. A thorough keyword and competitor analysis allowed us to identify high-value search terms and benchmark against established local rivals, carving out a unique space for Diet Delight to compete and ensuring our efforts were targeted for maximum impact.
Step 2: Complete Google Business Profile Optimization
We conducted a complete overhaul of the Google Business Profile to turn it into a powerful customer acquisition tool, making the following actions:
- Complete Google Business optimization with an included unique description, NAP details, amenities, and more.
- Correcting the pin location to ensure accurate driving directions on Google, Apple, and Bing Maps.
- Uploading an optimized menu and professional, high-quality images and videos of the food and restaurant interior.
- Actively managing the photo gallery by removing irrelevant user-generated images and outdated pictures from third-party sources like Talabat.
Those actions made the business stand out, but in order to do that, we had to make sure that people could find them.
Step 3: Content Strategy & Engagement
To keep the profile fresh and engaging, we implemented a strategic Google Post schedule including both English and Arabic content. These posts were designed to speak directly to potential customers, highlighting promotions, new menu items, and the unique dining experience at Diet Delight, thereby expanding their social reach and customer engagement.

Step 4: Reputation Management
To build trust and social proof, we launched a proactive reputation management strategy. We implemented on-site QR/NFC card solutions to encourage satisfied diners to leave reviews, transforming positive real-world experiences into valuable online assets that quickly grew their review count from 12 to 101 in just a few months.
Step 5: Authority & Citation Building
To expand Diet Delight's digital footprint and solidify its legitimacy, we submitted the business to key global and local citation platforms. Listings on authoritative sites like that ensured consistent business information across the web, signaling trustworthiness to search engines.
The Results
In just five months, our strategy transformed Diet Delight from an unknown newcomer into a visible and trusted local restaurant.
- Explosive Growth in Online Visibility: Total impressions on Google skyrocketed from 5,255 in April 2025 to 12,464 in August 2025 - a 137% increase.
- The year-over-year growth was even more stunning, with a 406.7% increase in impressions compared to August 2024.

Total monthly actions (phone calls, menu views, direction requests, etc.) increased by 70% from 652 in April to 1,112 in August 2025. In August alone, this included 513 phone calls and 354 direction requests.

- Dominant Search Engine Rankings: Diet Delight achieved top rankings for critical, high-intent keywords, securing a Top 3 position for "restaurant in Rowdhat Abu Dhabi", increased visibility for "Restaurant near me", and breaking into the Top 50 for the first time for "lunch restaurant Abu Dhabi".
